Mississippi fresh water blister Pearl

Absolutely gorgeous fresh water blister pearl, usually referred to as a Mississippi River Pearl. From the Mississippi River, purchased 7 years ago at the Tucson Gem Show. The dealer I purchased it from said that they had to stop production because of costs. I don't see them for sale on the internet so I guess these are really rare now.

This pearl has some beautiful opalescence that you don't see in the pictures, it's a beautiful pearly white. I hand picked the best they had available. Something unique and rare, it is guaranteed to get many compliments when make it into jewelry or keep as a specimen

Approx Size: 28 x 30 x 7 mm, weight: 35 ct.
